UKRAINIAN PAVILLION AT EWEA 2013 ANNUAL EVENT

Ukrainian companies involved in wind energy business for the first time participated at the official level in the premier annual event of the European Wind Energy Association - EWEA 2013 Annual Event, held in Vienna, Austria from 4 to 7 February, 2013. More than 8000 delegates from different countries and continents participated in the event.

The Ukrainian delegation included representatives of such companies as "Management Company "Wind Parks of Ukraine", "Dealex Transport", "Konkord Group", "Azovenergo" and Ukrainian Wind Energy Association (UWEA) - an initiator of Ukrainian pavilion at the European Wind Energy Exhibition.  Department of Promotion and Public Relations at State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine Office of Ukraine and Information and Analytical Resource "Ukrainian Energy UA-Energy.org" provided the information support to the Ukrainian participants. 

Ukrainian Day was conducted by UWEA on February 5, 2013 in the framework of EWEA 2013 Annual Event. In the evening there was a Reception "Open Ukraine" organized by UWEA with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Austria. The Ukrainian Embassy in Austria provides a platform for the presentations of Ukrainian and European companies, major players in the wind energy sector in Ukraine and the EU.  Invited participants from Ukraine and Europe interested in the cooperation and implementation of the investment projects in Ukraine were addressed by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Austria, Mr. Andrey Berezny, Chairman of the Board of UWEA, Mr. Andrey Konechenkov and General director of MC "Wind Parks of Ukraine", Mr. Vladislav Yeremenko. The sponsors of the event were a Law Firm "Arzinger" and Managing Company "Wind Parks of Ukraine".
