Gamesa launches its new G136-4,5 MW turbine, class III, specially designed for low-wind sites.
The machine which strengthens the 4.5 MW turbine range, shares the same design specifications as the G128-4,5 MW, Class IIA: minimal cost of energy (COE) and the same ease of transport and assembly as that of a 2,0 W turbine. A modular design (a segmental blade design unique on the market with 66,5m) makes it as easy to transport and assemble as a 2<0 MW turbine and simplifies maintenance.
Gamesa also announces that it will open an office in Hamburg for its offshore business in the second quarter of the year, in order to tap growth in one of the world’s largest marine wind energy markets.
