International Specialized Exhibition ”Energy Efficiency” successfully held in International Exhibition Centre in Kiev from November 6 to November 9, 2012 aroused huge interest of the professional community, investors and a wide range of specialists. Exhibition took place within the framework of International Investment Forum that was organized by State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, and Ukrainian Wind Energy Association was an industry partner of the event. In his welcome address at the opening of the International Investment Forum Andrei Konechenkov, Chairman of UWEA, said “An open dialogue between the state and private business is an important factor in overcoming bureaucratic barriers and such dialogue should result in developing a clear procedure for cooperation between the parties”.
A seminar devoted to the Green tariff legislation existing in Ukraine was conducted within the framework of the Forum. It was attended by representatives of all Ministries and state agencies of Ukraine responsible for the development of renewable energy sector in the country.
